I’ve spent years helping adult beginners finally feel confident with a guitar in their hands. After touring around the country in bands, I realized that most people don’t struggle because they lack talent – they struggle because guitar is rarely taught in a clear, simple way.
That’s why I focus on breaking everything down into small, practical steps that actually make sense, even if you’re starting from scratch or feel like you’ve “tried before and failed.” My teaching style is built around simplicity, clarity, and progress you can feel not overwhelming theory or complicated exercises.
I didn’t always plan on teaching guitar. After spending years touring in bands, I saw firsthand how many people wanted to play guitar but felt overwhelmed or stuck after trying traditional lessons.
Most adult beginners aren’t short on motivation — they’re short on clarity. They don’t know where to start, what to practice, or how to make real progress with limited time. That’s what pushed me to start teaching guitar in a simpler, more practical way.
Over time, I refined a system that removes the guesswork and focuses on clear steps, consistency, and real progress. Teaching guitar became my full-time focus, and I’ve helped countless adults finally enjoy learning instead of feeling frustrated.
